to the web page of Dance school Salsa Slovenija,
at Celovška cesta 134 b in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Ambition of this site, beside offering dance courses
of salsa, bachata and kizomba, is to gather and present information
about salsa events from all over Slovenija and any
other event about Latin American culture, like
concerts, festivals, lectures etc. But first of all; we will
never run out of tips where to salsa party around here.
Well, it looks like salsa is still going strong in Slovenija.
There are as manny dance classes as before
and still a lot of people attend numeros salsa parties.
Sensual dances, like bachata and kizomba are also on the rise.
Most of the salsa dance schools and events are located
in Ljubljana. Salsa is also growing on the coast
(Izola, Portorož) and there are classes available in
Maribor and Celje.
The style that is danced here is the same mixture
that you can find all around Europe; Puertorican-LA blend
with some elements of Cuban. There are more people
that dance Cuban casino style
(and some people learn Casino Rueda) and not
so many people dance salsa on 2 although the number
is growing.

(Koprska 29).
On Tuesdays from 21:30. Salsa and bachata. Free.
Wednesday - LJUBLJANA - Salsa party in the bar "Sputnik".
(Tržaška cesta 128).
From autumn on every Wednesday from 21:00 to 01:00. Salsa, bachata, kizomba. Free.
Wednesday - MARIBOR - Salsa party in "Feniks Caffe".
(Loška ulica 13).
Every Wednesday from 21:00. Salsa and bachata. Free.
Thursday - LJUBLJANA - Salsa party at " Cafe Cubano".
(Kolosej, BTC).
On Thursdays from 22:00 to 01:00. Cuban salsa only. Free.
Friday - LJUBLJANA - Kizomba party in "Moj korak".
(Vilharjeva 14).
Every Friday from 22:00. Kizomba, urban kiz, occasional bachata. Entrance: 4 €.
Saturday - LJUBLJANA - Salsa party in "Dancefloor".
(Šmartinska cesta 106).
Every Saturday from 22:00 to 03:00. Salsa, bachata, kizomba. Entrance: 5 €.

SALSA SLOVENIJA
is very warm and welcoming DANCE SCHOOL with
excelent dance teachers. We're offering dance courses of salsa,
bachata and kizomba all year around. If you do not understand
Slovenian, we're happy to explain everything in English, too.
We are located at Celovška cesta 134 b, Ljubljana - Šiška.
Beginnings of February's 4-week courses:
Monday, 4. 2. :
19:00 - 20:30 : Salsa - level 2 ( improvers 2)
20:30 - 22:00 : Salsa - level 4 ( intermediate )
Tuesday, 5. 2. :
19:00 - 20:30 : Salsa beginners course
20:30 - 22:00 : Bachata beginners course 2
Wednesday, 6. 2. :
19:30 - 21:00 : Salsa - level 2 ( improvers 1 )
Thursday,7. 2. :
19:00 - 20:30 : Salsa - level 2-3 ( improvers 4 )
20:30 - 21:30 : Bachata ( intermediate )
Wednesday, 6. 3. :
18:00 - 19:30 : Salsa beginners course
